- Interactive art demonstration by Matilde Trujillo:
"I started painting classes at 9 years old. Seeing my mother painting at home inspired me.By 11 years old, I was awarded first place in a painting contest.
I was very into painting nature landscapes outdoors, that I enjoyed the most. I continue painting for the love of practicing Art and being creative.
Painting is like trying to stop time, when in reality everything is in constant change. I like to capture moments and beauty in simple things and places.
I also like to explore different mediums as pastels, watercolor, acrylics and oils. I also love embroidery as a meaningful practice in my Mexican heritage.
I love Impressionism as much as Expressionist movements.
I wish to see kids everywhere to have the opportunity to experiment Art in everyday life."
