Insights: Design Shine

Join us for a special evening in the Garden as the UMLAUF further highlights the installations of Design Shine 2025 with presentations and discussions from the four winning architect/designer teams! 

Created to showcase emerging talent in the fields of architecture and design, Design Shine 2025 resulted in four extraordinary installations from four local teams. Situated amidst Charles Umlauf's sculptures, the 2025 Design Shine installations reinvigorate the visitor's experience with captivating, family-friendly sculptural art works.

Installations include:

• Lumina Obscura by Joshua Hummingbird, Tooba Jalal, Sanika Malvankar, Nandita Warrier, Paria Taheri, John Lewchuk, and David Caballero
• Mirrored Glow by Rohaan Saripella
• Sylvan Lightscape by Emerald Smith and Sarah Grossman
• Urban Roosts by Grant Wilson, Josh Sollars, and Alex McKenzie

Free and open to the public.

Doors open at 6pm.
